Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (more affectionally known as RAFW) began on Monday and we couldn’t be more excited.
The biggest fashion event in Australia was topped by the biggest show of the century by our fave designer Alex Perry. (Case in point: we love him so much that Angela even wore one of his designs at her wedding)
What a B-I-G show it was. A crowd of over 1,000 special guests, a 130m runway that seemed to go on forever, HUGE hair and statement makeup.... of course, we wouldn't expect anything less from the King of Australian couture.
Perry's “Arabian Princess” collection was a breathtaking array of microshorts, tailored jackets, and gorgeous gowns. Think gold embellishments, lace, flowing feathers, short and sweet hemlines and decadent billowing layers of tulles oozing from the runway:
Our friends at Napoleon Perdis (including Christine from Crystine Makeup) did an amazing job with the makeup! Smokey eye with a dusting of glistening shimmer shouts oh-so-this-season.
