Thursday Bag Lust...

Now onto the most important question at hand: WHICH HANDBAG TO CHOOSE.

My top 3 choices at the moment are... the new Balenciaga blue giant briefcase (or part timer). The colour is actually really amazing, much better than it is pictured here. So hip, so now, so blue blue blue!

Next, the Chloe Marcie. I've seen it look fab on Katie Holmes so many times now but when I checked it out in the store I wasn't quite sure if it's my style. Looks GREAT in pictures though!

And finally, my favorite of the day... the Fendi Peekaboo. I'm not normally a fan of Fendi bags, and my original Fendi tote disappeared whilst moving across countries many years ago. I've never thought of getting another Fendi bag until now... but this is just pure perfection. You can wear it either around your arm as a briefcase or with the strap, clasped up or "peekaboo" like on the runway. I'm really tempted but my husband is gonna so roll his eyes if I get another bag right now, especially as we are picking up the BIRKIN NEXT WEEK!!! (dies of excitement...)

The Fashionista Talks...

After this article about me appeared on Korea.net, I was asked by Arirang Radio (a national English language broadcaster in Korea) if they could interview me on their Culturescapes segment as a personality in Korea.

Chanel takes it the WRONG way...

What do we think of this?

Chanel is launching a line of limited edition line accessories to coincide with the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, which starts on 1 May.

The range features Chinese motifs such as china dolls, dragons...

....  and a takeaway box??

Uh oh... massive FAIL, Chanel! A take away box does not a tradional Chinese symbol make. It is merely the Americanization of Chinatown and a cheapening of its culture. Noone in China even eats out of boxes like that!

Not to mention the fact that its a damn fugly accessory.

Tsk tsk Chanel... *shakes head*. Not pretty.

Much LUV 4 Gaga

Yesterday, we were shocked (yet secretly thrilled) to see what Lady Gaga had done this time:

This picture she put up on her Twitter of her doodlings on her Birkin had us in a bit of a frenzy. The message says something along the likes of  "I love you small monsters. Love Tokyo."

This morning, another rude awakening:

Although, we must say that the back (presumably signed by her fans) is a lot more artistic than the front. The question is - what will she do with the bag after she completes her tour in Japan? We hope she auctions it off and gives the money to charity :)

Whatever her motivation was, its certainly Gaga all the way. And although I wont be doing this to my Birkin, she still gets full marks for being her wonderfully deranged avant garde self.

You never disappoint us Gaga!!

We're Back!!

We've been a bit slow with updating lately, so please forgive us! It's been a whirlwind month with Angela's wedding preparations and events keeping us super busy. Now it's all over, and we're taking a much deserved breather.
